The world will not avoid the ‘tipping point’ of global warming of 1.5 degrees Celsius, researchers warn

To achieve this goal of limiting temperature rise by this amount, global carbon emissions must reach zero – where emissions are balanced by carbon absorption by plants and carbon capture technology – in 2050.
To reach the target, emissions would have to be reduced by 43 percent by 2030, the two scientists said in a paper published in the journal Nature. Science – but emissions are still increasing.

I always find it funny when doomsday predictions are announced, but I guess the scientists had to eat while they were waiting for the apocalypse.
Research says 1.25C warming has happened, but look around you. Nothing bad happened.
So are we now expected to believe that an extra 0.25 warming to reach 1.5 degrees Celsius will make all the difference?
Since we have a lot of ancient evidence that times were much warmer than today, there was a lot of life and abundance, like Eocene heat peaks, in which our primate ancestors encountered such favorable conditions, they spread over much of the planetI won’t lose sleep over the possibility of a 1.5 degree Celsius global warming breach.
