My dog is also allergic to everything. Lick her feet and butt ALL TIME. Endless ear infections that cost me thousands of dollars!!! And the only thing that helped was Royal canin hydrolyzed protein dog food and cell point

Vital Essentials Raw Frozen Rabbit. Rabbit is a very good protein for dogs with allergies. It comes in a patty. All you have to do is defrost it. It has all the vitamins and minerals you need in it. Duck is also very good. According to my dermatologist, chicken is the number one allergy in dogs. Stay away from kibbles. Your dog may also react to other ingredients in it so it can be difficult to figure out what’s causing the problem. Believe me, I’ve spent years trying to figure out what’s causing my dog’s GI and skin problems. This solved all his problems.

Talk to your vet. You can follow a diet. I see our doodle can’t have ANYTHING chicken related. Türkiye is good. He is on Purina smartblends turkey and venison and his ear infection is gone.

I haven’t done allergy tests, just did an intolerance test and my result was very intolerant Salmon and I gave her that because I thought it was the best for her skin. hers! I have stopped all salmon and she is showing signs of improvement. I know some people have some very strong opinions about intolerance tests, but it seems to be helping me figure something out. Because of my experience, I personally wouldn’t suggest you anything for your baby. I would say at least do the intolerance test. They can be very intolerant of the very thing people are suggesting, like mine.

We use Sensitive stomach Purina for lamb puppies. We tried at least 10 different types and brands before finally finding this one that worked. Ours can’t have chicken, peanut butter or cheese. Seems to be allergic to everything. The most expensive puppy we have ever owned. We still love him and won’t change him for the world!

Don’t do anything with chicken or chicken by product. A lot of doodlers are allergic to foods that contain chicken products. I feel I WILL BE dry for my Doodle.

Science Diet Z/D prescription foods. Our Westie has been tested for allergies because his allergies are so severe he likes his feet alive. He’s been taking allergy shots for a year. It worked fine for him.

My doodle was home cooked by a nutritionist from UT veterinary school and still has terrible problems. We did a prescription hydrolyzed diet and he was fine then switched to a hydrolyzed diet. Zignature Choose Lamb Cut and he’s been fine ever since. It has ancient grains and is a single protein. Has never been recalled and has added taurine etc for increased coverage. His gut is better than ever! Even so, he can’t do seedless Zignature… must be Select cuts with ancient grains. Chewy is where we bought it. (He can’t do raw either.)

No chicken at all! If you put some oil (olive, coconut or whatever) in your food and some cinnamon, the skin problems will stop. You can google the benefits of oil and cinnamon in a dog diet. I have 3 doodles and this works for all of them. I feed them Sensitive Sheep Stomach Purina ProPlan. Make sure you feed cereal. Doodles don’t do well without a grain-based diet. Ask your vet and they will confirm it.
