When I had yorkie, I cooked for him. Chicken heart… liver with vegetables and some rice. Or chicken soup with vegetables. He is very picky. He doesn’t even like dog junk food just likes some salami. He never went begging. And he has dry food in his bowl all day… it’s his snack. He is great dog.., good hunter.

My Yorkie only eats chicken (no beef or anything). I weaned her off a raw diet to regular dog food. I suggest Rachel Ray..she likes chicken brown rice. All of it is also natural.

Who is the alpha here……they will eat eventually…, I feed my Yorkie mix….by Fromm food since she was a baby now she is 12: age……they are playing friends because they can….if they don’t eat in time, pick up the plate and don’t feed until the next meal….it looks like they rule you, you have to be ALPHA…don’t worry when they take it… they will eat if they are hungry enough… also sprinkle some toppings on top of the food like crackers… .put the food down and walk away…..if they don’t eat, pick it up and don’t feed it again until the next meal…..trust me they will…don’t let them worry you…. .good luck

I mix regular chicken, frozen peas and chickpeas, scrambled eggs, and her dog wet food. I made a batch big enough to last 2 days. When serving it to her, I throw in some dry crumbs and water to give it a crunch and make sure she’s drinking enough. She loves it. Much better than her reg food and it’s super easy to make. You can even freeze it if you’re making a larger batch.

They are hungry enough they will eat. I tell my Chloe that all the time. she is I am s dry with some Cesar tenderloin on top. Baby eats 2 times a day, this meal does not eat much, then the next meal. She is very picky and weighs about 6 lbs!

Cesar is the ONLY dog food I will eat. He even likes dry food but we have to change the taste of wet food because if we give him something he doesn’t want now he will refuse to eat until we open the dish. other. All 3 of my people eat cooked chicken, chicken liver, chicken hearts, lamb, sausages, none of them eat canned or dried food, they even ate oxtails that my butcher cut into small pieces hard bones to keep their teeth healthy. I cook everything once a week and portion it in the freezer and take out 1 bag a day (enough for 3 people) they also just love the cat bisc in the bowl on their tray. All my children are like this and the 3 who have died of old age in the last 2 years are 15, 17 and 21.

Framers Dog for our yorkies until they get tired of all 4 of them. They like it when we boil sweet potatoes and rice, other wise as always word and my male yorkie has kidney disease so he has the RX Hills special diet and he loves that too.

Tilly is just really okay Royal Canin Yorkie dry kibble – but her favorite are the original Rancho strips that seem to be being recalled, so buy whatever I can find but she only gets one strip a day – Other snacks she will sometimes eat are delicious cupcakes, especially if playing in a jigsaw puzzle. It’s rare that she knows a little about what I’m eating but loves cheese

Royal canin for yorkies. You can get it at Pet Smart. I fed both of mine. When we lost the first one, it had been eating this for 17 years, and my other one came from the same father, different mother. They are 1 year apart. I had one last time 18 years and 8 months. Both are very healthy and active. They crossed the rainbow 2 years apart.

I’ve started making my own food in the slow cooker – they love it! I mix ground pork and beef, sweet potatoes, carrots, blueberries, apples, and kale. Cook slowly over high heat for 3 hours. Make a cup of rice- then add to the cooked food. I like I usually have all the ingredients on hand, I know what’s in it and they love it. I freeze it for 2 days and it will be good in the fridge for 4 days.

My Yorkiepoo is on a special diet through her vet. That is EN gastrointestinal tract food. She stopped eating so the vet told me to try Scientific Diet for Sensitive Stomach but she turned her nose up right away. Then the vet told me to boil some rice and some chicken and feed her. I mixed it with her EN dog food and she loves it

I feel for you. We have a Shortie who is the pickiest little girl. I’ve tried several different brands – even a $20 bag for picky eaters they’re supposed to eat – NO. The only thing I make her eat without flinching is the meat I cook for her – chicken breast, pork chops, roast beef, venison, burgers, fish and sometimes turkey.. can’t force her to eat any fruits or vegetables. , or rice. She likes spaghetti, cheese, mac and cheese. No hot dogs, hot dogs or processed foods. We tried feeding her Blue Buffalo canned food. She ate the beef stew which was quite good, but the others didn’t. She was so emotional after we got home that I gave away the last few boxes I had, letting her take what I knew she would eat. She also likes liver – won’t touch chicken liver, but will eat beef liver. GOOD LUCK! I can also add that she just wants to eat from her bowl or else I have to feed her with my hands.
