Garmin’s relatively new Venu Sq has overtaken the long-reigning champion – the Fitbit Versa – as our recommended higher-end fitness tracker in the $200 section of the market. The components are all quality, the bike weighs about 37 pounds – light for an ebike – and it doesn’t look like an “ebike”. I gave the more expensive Freedom X model a 7/10 in my review for good looks, more powerful acceleration than usual, and a low weight of 39 pounds. The Freedom 2 has all that, but without the built-in LCD display and torque sensor. Both are good models, but between the two, I’d recommend saving $200 and go with the Freedom 2.
