Tesla Cybertruck should be able to cross the sea but cannot cross this river
Sound Tesla e-truck Owners just don’t know how capable – or rather, not capable – of their electric pickup trucks, according to this footage from the US.
A video uploaded to YouTube shows one Tesla e-truck had plunged into the river but was trying to escape, even running from one side to the other.
Although the river isn’t deep enough for the Cybertruck to lean on claimed wading depth of 70cmit causes enough traction problems to prevent the electric pickup from pulling itself out.
Some online commentators also pointed out that its long wheelbase and stiff-looking suspension contributed to its running aground on the steeper uphill.
Unfortunately, the video cuts off before we see the final result, although the promotional poster indicates that a Chevrolet Silverado soon showed up to help pull the Cybertruck out of the river.
Hopefully this is a lesson to all drivers that no matter what you own and how much you believe in it, physics still wins.
