With the Cybertruck’s dual motor all-wheel drive, the estimated range is 340 miles, which means it can only go 47% of its estimated range when towing. By comparison, the Model X has an estimated range of 330 miles, giving it a towing range of 71% of its estimated range. That’s a significant difference in towing range between two different electric vehicles from the same company, but the Cybertruck came out almost a decade later than the Model X. If you’re setting off from downtown Los Angeles, that’s barely enough distance to get to Sequoia National Park, and you certainly can’t leave until you’ve recharged your batteries a bit.
