Taylor: If Catterall decides against me, I won’t grumble

Undisputed ultralightweight champion Josh Taylor says he won’t complain if Jack Catterall makes a decision against him in their fight in February.

Five weeks passed and the dust began to settle from that night in Glasgow, where the ‘Tartan Cyclone’ emerged as a controversial winner. Many believe Catterall has done more than enough to return to Chorley as the new king of the 140lbs division.

Still, Taylor believes she’s done just enough to get a show of hands.

“I personally scored 113-112 for myself, but I can understand why a lot of people think Jack won because there were so many innings where it could go both ways, you can score Jack. or for myself. , a lot of rotation,” Taylor told Sky Sports.

“So if it was a draw, it would be a fair result, if it had tipped Jack a point or two, I wouldn’t grumble either.”
