This week, Square Enix released Ogre Strategy: Reborn on Nintendo Switch and many other platforms.
If you haven’t played the game yet, here’s another reason why you should check it out. As marked by user ‘solwhitehorn’ on Nintendo Switch subredditthe game actually supports mouse and keyboard input.
So if you don’t want to play on Joy-Cons or Switch Pro Controllers, you can use this method instead:
“I find it strange that the shortcuts are shown in the configuration menu. Although nothing is written on the box, plugging in a usb mouse/keyboard works directly and you can play the game this way like the version PC. I also tried a USB dongle for the Dell wireless mouse/keyboard combo and it worked with no problems”
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time the Nintendo Switch has taken control of keyboard and mouse input. Earlier this year, id Software and Bethesda added support for this control method to earthquake also:
