iPhone users will soon receive push notifications for websites through Safari with the iOS 16 update in 2023.
Many of Apple’s iOS 16 updates over the past few months have rolled out a number of new features for iPhone users like the ability to personalize the Lock Screen, edit or unsend iMessages, improvements to the Photos app, and changes the always-on display is exclusive to the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. If you think these updates will stop soon, think again. Why? Because Apple has a surprise iOS 16 update for iPhone users in 2023.
According to a report by MacRumors, Apple plan to bring a major upgrade to iPhone with the latest version iOS 16 updates. The report says that Apple plans to roll out Mac-like Safari support and push notifications on iPhones. You’ll soon receive push notifications for your favorite sites via Safari. It should be noted that this feature is already available to MacBook users, as is the option to customize notifications. Now, iPhone users will enjoy the same feature in 2023.
Initially, this feature was revealed in June 2022. However, it is one of the features that customers as well as companies and website manufacturers are eagerly waiting for in 2023.
What else is coming in the iOS 16 update
You can expect to see some other features with newer iOS 16 updates in 2023. The report says features like Enhanced Data Protection will be extended to more countries, lock down physical security for Apple IDs and more could be rolled out in 2023. However, none of these movies are previewed in June.
Currently, Apple is testing iOS 16.3 with developers and public beta testers, which will be released in early 2023.
