Super Bowl LVII Picks: Our experts predict who will win the Lombardi Cup

LVII Super Cup is right around the corner like NFL The knockouts will take place this weekend, including six knockout matches en route to Glendale, Ariz.

Which two teams will wrap up the game on February 12 in the big FOX game? We asked the NFL and gambling experts about their options:

Warren Sharp: 49ers finish chief

During the summer, I bet Eagle 25-1 for the best record in the NFL. While I’m still heavily invested in the soon-to-be NFC Eagles and could easily stick with that choice, I have to admit I don’t like hearing how QB Jalen hurts still facing significant pain in the game at Week 18 after a few weeks of rest. Nick Sirianni said next week’s rest will be very beneficial for him. I would deduce that competing against each other for weeks in the group stage and then the tournament championship round will not be easy. Then Johnson Lane wound. So I’m going to share what I’m personally doing and that is hedging with 49ers futures.

In the AFC, I’m rolling with the Captains. I have chosen Ravens to make it to the summer knockouts (and win) and take some long shots to get them to win the Super Bowl. But Lamar Jackson was injured, and this team just went as far as they could. So I’m taking the chiefs. Mainly because goodbye is huge, but partly because I think their match vs. Charger/Jaguar would be much easier than the Bills’ likely game against the Bengals, and partly because I am concerned about the state of the Bills’ defense and the lack of quality competition they have faced so hard. bear. In the end, I like the 49ers to prevail.

Geoff Schwartz: Bill cross the eagle

I remain steadfast with my pre-season Bills pick, but I feel strongly that if it’s not the Bills, it’s the Bengals. Bengals are playing defensive football, all 3 stages are playing well. They made no mistakes. They didn’t turn it over. They have no defense bankruptcy insurance. There are great benefits to being a team that doesn’t screw it up.

Jason McIntyre: 49ers on Chiefs

Uncertainty reigns in NFC, where I’d rather pick the 49ers or the Eagles, but both have big questions (Brock Purdy and trauma, respectively). Everyone worries about rookie QB never winning the Super Bowl, but remember, Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to return to the NFC title game, possibly.

AFC is a three-horse race between captains, Bills and Bengals. Can a team like Chargers sneak in?

Give me the 49ers vs. Captains in the most obvious Super Bowl rematch, with the 49ers avenging the 2021 Super Bowl loss. But if you’re looking for a pair that’s been so good — over the past two years, the wild card team made it to the Super Bowl — stay tuned Cowboys lose to the Bills.

david helman: Leader than eagle

I’ll be honest, it’s not a sensible option. There are at least three teams with a better overall lineup, if not four. It’s just a demonstration of unreasonably good deeds Patrick Mahomes will play this year and I don’t know how many teams can take him down – remember he embarrassed San Francisco once this year. As long as his supporting cast can stay relatively healthy through the knockouts, I think Mahomes is just as good.

Carmen Vitali: Out of bill Vikings

Too many bad and tragic things have happened to this Buffalo team over the course of the season. A teammate lost a brother, multiple record-breaking storms and then the NFL world stopped with Damar Hamlin. And while those are much bigger than the game itself, I think Buffalo has to at least do something positive and that hitting the Super Bowl will eventually help.

Henry McKenna: Out of bill bucs

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are on a similar plane of elite midfield play. That’s 1a and 1b – with guy #1 changing weekly. What the Bills have that the Chiefs don’t: an elite defense force. The seven fronts of the buffalo are beasts. They will beat Mahomes (and any other QB) just like the Bills did earlier this season when they beat Kansas City.

Patrick Everson: Invoice over 49ers

First, let me preface this pick with the following: After getting it wrong like I did with my pre-season pick for FOX Sports, you might want to do whatever is supposed to be the opposite. Back to my playstyle. Before Week 1, I chose pony faced to packer in the Super Bowl, with the Colts winning. Neither team even made it post-season.

But I digress. Now that we have only 14 teams left, I will try again. And I’m taking two No.2 seeds: Bills vs 49ers, Bills lifting the championship trophy. It’s not exactly a gap, but I don’t think the two No. 1s — Kansas City and Philadelphia – make it to the desert. The Bills have won seven games in a row, while the Niners are on a 10-game winning streak.

Buffalo beat Kansas City at the Chiefs’ home field in Week 6. We know the Bills have a dynamic attack, but their defense is also top-notch, ranking 2nd in the league in points allowed (17. ,9 PPG). San Francisco hasn’t lost since the 44-23 Week 7 game against Kansas City. But that was right after the 49ers bought back Christian McCaffrey before he can fully integrate into the offense. Since then, whether Jimmy Garoppolo or rookie Mr. Brock Purdy In the center, Niners is a machine. Seven of those 10 straight wins came in double digits.

And the 49ers’ defense is number 1 in the league in terms of allowed points, only 16.3 PPG. That said, I think there will be some point in the Bills-49ers Super Bowl.

Ralph Vacchiano: Bengali cross the eagle

The Eagles’ late-season slump and Jalen hurts‘ shoulder injury should have had everyone worried. They were lucky to be in the NFC, because in the AFC they might not have survived the first match. Still, they’re convention class, but when it comes to the Super Bowl, they’ll run into a juggler – it’s just a matter of choosing which one. Team Bengal entered the knockout stage with a winning streak of 8 games, and Joe Burrow has played as well as any quarterback in the NFL since his opening four interceptions. He nearly won the championship for the Bengals last year. Now fully tested in battle, he’s ready to get the job done.

Greg Auman: Invoice over 49ers

The Bills don’t dominate the revenue margin, and they don’t have a traditionally stable running game like the other top contenders. San Francisco is probably closest in terms of top on both sides of the ball – maybe Peach Stefon take more turns to take Josh Allen to the next level in the championship game?

Sam Panayotovich: Bengals on 49ers

Time to go out of the box. Most people would choose Buffalo or Kansas City to represent the AFC, which certainly makes sense. But I refuse to discount a white Cincinnati team that has won eight straight and has a quarterback of its own generation. Joe Burrow’s play takes it to the next level on the biggest stages, and I think the Bengals are a very interesting Super Bowl bet 15-2. Meanwhile, San Francisco and Philadelphia are my two favorite teams in NFC, but I like the Niners’ defense and attacking flexibility a bit more.

Ben Arthur: Bengals on 49ers

We all know just how strong the Bengals’ offensive ability is, with the all-star quarterback Joe Burrow and the NFL’s best pass trio — Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd. But Cincinnati’s revamped attack has steadily improved throughout 2022. The defense is also playing in high form, with 11 goals conceded in the last 5 matches. With a series of 8 wins, the Bengals are also the hottest team in the AFC. It’s all shaping up for Cincinnati, which has had the experience and momentum of last season’s Super Bowl, to do what they failed to do last season: take home the Lombardi Cup.

Eric William: 49ers on Chiefs

The 49ers have a superior defense, creative offensive coach Kyle Shanahan enjoys running football and is one of the NFL’s most talented rosters. Additionally, San Francisco has been largely healthy going into the post-season, with midfield rookie Brock Purdy playing in top form. Yes, Kansas City beat the 49ers earlier this year at Levi’s Stadium, but I believe San Francisco is the most complete team in the league after this year’s season.
