Well, there’s good news, because we’ve found another sustainable swap that we can’t keep silent about: Bag.
Stasher makes a lot of claims about what these little wonder bags can do, so we had some of our own bags in a variety of sizes to try out. We packed them, washed them, microwaved them, froze them, and boiled them to see if they really stacked. After all, we can definitely say that we will never buy another Ziploc bag again.

We’ve had a number of Stsher sandwich bags for over a year and use them consistently, whether we’re packing lunches for hiking or storing leftover chili in the freezer. They were preserved perfectly and we never noticed any strange taste from the food in the bag.
We’ve added a few more sizes recently, including medium and large stand, half-gallon bags, and snack bags to see if they’re as good as they were originally. We’re really amazed at how the different sizes of Stashers open up a whole new world of food storage and cooking possibilities. Medium and large stand-up pouches are currently our favorite way to make popcorn for movie nights because after making popcorn right in the Stasher, its flat bottom makes it easy to keep the bag right next to us on bench. A half-gallon is great for storing any large leftovers, and we can’t wait to try a video with it.
Stasher bags have an easy-to-seal, re-sealable, airtight seal to keep any food or leftovers fresh. We’ve never had any spills or leaks with our Stasher bags, but to double-check, we filled the half-gallon bag with water and turned it upside down, shook and squeezed, and not a single drop. melt (while doing this we noticed that you can fill it with hot water to use as a heating pad or freeze it to use it as an ice pack!).
