Stephen Curry: Warriors superstar’s every-game winner in NBA career

Steph Curry told us all way back to 2013.

If there were five seconds left in a game and he needed to stage a play for one guy to shoot and win them all, who would it be? Curry places himself in 2nd place, behind a guy named Michael Jordan (whoever he is).

On Friday, the three-time NBA champion completed a game too close to their Warriors favorite with a game-winning jump to seal a 105-103 win for Golden State.

This is Steph’s eighth win in his career.

Here are seven other times Curry appeared on the whistle.

Steph Curry’s career winning shots

Warriors vs. Mavericks (December 11, 2013)

The best part of this game winner is the composure that Curry has to hit Marion with a malice swing to create an open look and calmly take down a mid-jumper to put the Warriors up with 1.5 seconds on the clock.

This shot also gave the Warriors an 18-point win.

Warriors vs. Celtics (January 10, 2014)

The playstyle drawn by coach Mark Jackson forced the Celtics’ Kris Humphries to compete against the Golden State star with a game-winning jump. Humphries didn’t stand a chance.

“Mama, go man!”

Warriors vs. Mavericks (April 1, 2014)

Curry’s second game winner against the Mavericks in less than six months.

Curry made a breakthrough jump in the final seconds of extra time to seal a 122-120 win for the Dubs. He finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds for the night.

Warriors vs. Magic (December 3, 2014)

Curry extended the Golden State Warriors’ winning streak to 10 games by killing a three-pointer with just 2.2 seconds left in the team’s 98-97 win over the Orlando Magic in the 2013-14 season.

“It’s just the rush that every player likes to experience,” said Curry. “Especially at home when you can do that and win big, you remember those moments.”

Warriors vs. Thunder (February 27, 2016)

Probably the most famous and best known of Curry’s game winners. It took the iconic double bang from broadcaster Mike Breen that has been imitated in the years since.

With 0.6 seconds left in stoppage time and a 118-118 draw against the home side Oklahoma City Thunder, Curry did what Curry does — shoots a shot from another stratosphere.

Warriors vs. Mavericks (January 3, 2018)

Do you get the feeling that Steph loves hitting winning shots on the Mavericks? This is his third time on Dallas. Steph finished with 32 points, eight assists and five rebounds as Golden State won 125-122.

Warriors vs. Clippers (December 23, 2018)

Curry let nearly all of the 20 seconds tick past the game clock, with just 0.5 seconds remaining when he finished this highly competitive match against the Clippers with a clutch bucket.
