Starmer: PM the worst leader at the worst possible time
Labor leader, Sir Keir Starmer, has described Boris Johnson as “the worst possible leader at the worst possible time” after pictures showed him taking part in a Christmas quiz last year .
Speaking to the BBC’s Andrew Marr, Sir Keir did not want to call for the prime minister to resign, despite saying it appeared Mr Johnson had broken the law.
The Sunday Mirror published a picture of the Prime Minister sitting between two colleagues in 10th place last year – while indoor mixing is banned in London.
Downing Street said the Prime Minister had “participated briefly” to thank staff for their work during the pandemic.
