It’s official in October, and technically – we’re now into the third quarter of 2022. While it may not seem like a big deal, it has become a talking point for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II fans picked up the Switch version of the game.
Not long after debuting on June 8, Aspyr mentioned Official website How the Sith Lord DLC for KOTOR II on Nintendo Switch will be released in Q3 2022:

It leaves players wondering on social media platforms like FacebookTwitter and Reddit what’s going on – with some describes Aspyr’s communications as “completely radio silent” over the past few months and notes how it has “officially missed” its own deadline. This is just a small sample:

“Yeah, the lousy content… is the main attraction of the Switch version for me, and the silence about it is poor. I’m sure it will come out eventually, but some talk about it. from the developers is needed at this stage.” (via Reddit)
In recent months, Aspyr was said to have been dropped from the KOTOR remake project. According to a story of BloombergEmbracer Group currently has Saber Interactive’s Eastern European Studios developing the game.
Whenever the Sith Lords Restored Content DLC is released, it will be available as a “Free DLC” in the Nintendo Switch eShop. It’s packed with extra quests, dialogue options, encounters, and more. Here’s the summary via Aspyr’s website:
– New HK Manufactory Mission – Play as your droid companion HK-47 and explore the mysterious HK Manufacturing Factory beneath the Telos military base.
– New refurbishment finish – Experience the last level in a new way, with greater interaction from your team members and more focus on your previous choices.
– Conversations with the Livelier . crew – Get to know your crew on the Ebon Hawk even better with additional lines of dialogue and interaction.
– Bonus quests and challenges – Explore even more quests and combat encounters scattered across different planets around the galaxy for an extra challenge.
It should be noted that base game save files will not be compatible with The Sith Lords Restored Content DLC, but players can still access previous saves by disabling DLC content from the main menu. You can read more about this in our past story.
