A Pit Bull named Noah was the prey of the litter. The breeder will “remove” him because he cannot sell him for a profit. Fortunately, Vivian’s husband intervened in time!
He is visiting a breeder with a friend who is looking to adopt a dog. Vivian’s husband sees Noah, who is set aside. When asked about him, the breeder made it clear that Noah was a waste.
Vivian doesn’t think bringing a dog into the family is a good idea since they’re both in the military, but her husband has other plans. He called his wife and said he was going home with a puppy. Thankfully, Vivian looked into Noah’s little face and fell in love.
Noah is a special puppy. Vivian says that Noah knows when someone in the family needs a sense of calm and gives them that. He’s so intuitive (and so adorable!). She also went on to say that Noah “appreciated you.” When he saw Vivian eat that extra snack, he stared at her like “hmmm really?”
Two years later, the couple saw an online post about another Pit Bull that a family didn’t want. They jumped at the opportunity to adopt a brother for Noah. Both have fun together. Vivian describes them as “calm on one side and stormy on the other.”
Vivian was moved to New Jersey while her husband was moved to South Carolina. Separation has certainly come at a cost. Vivian says she wouldn’t have made it without Noah, especially since she was injured. What a great story! Aren’t dogs the best?
