I played a few previous games in the Sniper Elite series, and I quickly lost interest in them whenever my stealthy, sniper mission went wrong. With the enemy warned, it was all too easy to back into a corner and let the Nazis pounce on my machine gun fire. Alec quite liked the Sniper Elite 4, however, while struggling with its inconsistent tone. These are games where you get a ton of celebratory XP after inflicting really horrible death animations with X-rays, keep that in mind.
