Small medical systems add ambient note generation to EHR workflows



Physician-owned CVFP medical group and concierge medical network PartnerMD said it is rolling out its system-wide Assistant Suki voice artificial intelligence system to ease the administrative burden for doctors. clinician.

According to today’s announcement, Suki has been shown to reduce documentation time per note by up to 72% in home medicine environments and integrates with major electronic health record systems, including Epic. , Cerner, Athena and Elation.

The rollout will enable clinicians at Virginia-based PartnerMD, a network of paramedics, and CVFP Medical Group, a physician-owned primary care organization based in Lynchburg, Complete documents in the background – using dictation or imperatives.

Suki says it uses generalized AI to listen to doctor-patient interactions in real time and automatically generate clinical notes. Clinicians can review and accept, reject, or edit content recommendations to ensure accuracy of final notes.

Once the notes are complete, they will sync back to the EHR.

According to Jack Bretcher, CEO of PartnerMD, offering multiple modes in one solution gives clinicians more flexibility in their workflow.

“PartnerMD has been using Suki for a while and is impressed with how it helps our physicians reduce administrative burdens and spend more time on patient relationships and clinical care,” Bretcher said in a statement.
