Skims’ new swimwear collection will sell out on Saturday

I just want to say it: Most people who claim to not like Skims probably don’t try it not yet. Sure, when you pull one of its shaping coats out of the box, it looks like something only your old American Girl doll could fit in. But once you’ve put it on and positioned it (it can take a few minutes), it’s hard to argue with the quality and comfort of the product. With super soft t-shirts, underwear, panties and active shapewear, Our editors agree that Kim Kardashian and Skims co-founder Jens Grede have done well. Their next venture? Swimwear.

Today, the duo launched Skims Swim, the brand’s first water-friendly line and separators, all available in sizes XXS to 4X. The collection, which starts at $32, has been around for a long time. “We really took the time to make sure we were providing the best solutions for our customers,” Kardashian said in a press release. According to her, the goal was to create swimwear that wouldn’t feel uncomfortable for women by simplifying the beach shopping process and developing a product line that would work for everyone. “Whether you prefer a more discreet style or something more revealing, the collection is designed in layers and built upon,” she continued. Think cycling shorts and t-shirts, and Kardashian-Jenner favorites like string bikinis and jumpsuits.

This is the benefit. Like most of the Skims sale, the hype surrounding the brand’s first swimwear line was massive — like really big. I saw three TikToks of it in just my allotted 10-minute scroll this morning. In other words, the 19-item collection below won’t last long. Shop every product, all available in seven colors and sizes from XXS to 4X, while you can still stay below.
