Oslain Brante was trying to be a nice guy. Good to his relatives except the one who killed him. Resolutely loyal to his friends, even dying for one. Willing to die again rather than betray his revolutionary allies. But it just keeps going wrong for reasons that are completely contrived and sometimes deeply dissatisfying.
I would have given up on the game if it wasn’t that interesting. However, none of those deaths were final. He died as a child and came back. He died as a teenager and came back. These are not saved games, but normal games. It’s an interesting world created by confusing design choices.
