Ben Shalom says the undisputed middleweight war between Clarissa Shields and Savannah Marshall will happen.
The Boxxer CEO who promoted Marshall was confident about match announcementt followed WBO champion win over Femke Hermans six weeks ago.
Both Shields and Marshall had a confrontation in the ring after that but since then things seem to be quiet.
“Terms were agreed, they were ready to fight,” Shalom told Boxing Social’s Ryan Elliott.
“We are waiting for a date on which all parties agree. Savannah has some final work to do. It won’t take long, it’s just a matter of time. The last pieces of the jigsaw come together and that fight is sure to follow. ”
