Square Enix shared some information about Shatollaa seaside town, players will be able to explore in the upcoming life simulation JRPG, Harvestella. The Summer Seaslight governs Shatolla. Players will be able to meet Heine, the inventor, and Emo, the diva, in Shatolla. There are also details on new jobs and summer crops on the blog post.
Like the way Spring Seaslight operates Nemea, Shatolla received much influence from Summer Seaslight. However, some giant bubbles called Summer Bulla have begun to appear near the city, and there are rumors of a sea witch named Lorelei. Sailors believe she can pull ships into the ocean with her voice. While it’s unclear exactly where Heine would fit into the story, Emo asks for the protagonist’s help on a trip to Seaslight.

One of them is the waterside biome, good for sweet plants like Islet Watermelons. There are also cave biomes where you can grow spices and seasonings, like the Sudor Pepper. The crops you can grow in the summer are Shatollan Paprika, Bellhop, Seatide Garlic and Macocoa.
While you’ll likely need other ingredients, those summertime crops can be used to make mermaid sandwiches, Hop juices, shrimp and mushroom tapas, and melted chocolate fondant. To cook meals, you first need to build a Kitchen Counter in the protagonist’s house.
Previously, Square Enix revealed that the work of a certain protagonist skills and weapons. They can unlock new jobs when recruiting a character. The two new jobs shown in the blog post are Mechanic and Woglinde. Mechanic can use charged physical attacks as well as debuffs. Meanwhile, Woglinde is a spellcaster who can support the party.
Harvestella will launch on November 4, 2022 for Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. Demo version is available for Switch.
