Service dogs help deaf Labrador move life without hearing
Living with people with disabilities can be challenging, not only for people but also for animals.
For a mentally disabled and deaf yellow Labrador, life is not as easy for her as it is for most dogs. Thankfully, she is surrounded by a loving family and even has the help of a service dog!
As her owner, Bridget Evans, explained on Instagram, Kinley loves hanging out with her family and she even knows some sign language.
When that doesn’t work out for her, Kinsley is helped by another of Bridget’s dogs, a service dog named Lily.
Lily was trained by Bridget to be a mobility service dog and assisted Bridget (who was in a wheelchair) with tasks like opening doors, retrieving objects, and pulling her wheelchair.
When Lily isn’t supporting Bridget, she’s helping Kinsley!
In a TikTok that is currently going viral, you can see how helpful and caring Lily is to her deaf sister, Kinsley. In the video you can see the black Labrador running down the hallway to catch Kinley, who doesn’t realize it’s time for a daily walk!
Bridget writes in the video, “Lily took our deaf dog, Kinley, from another room for a walk.”
The video is quite sweet and shows the love the two dogs have for each other:

Life is actually better together – even for the pups.
