Are you a State Bank of India (SBI) customer and having trouble making UPI payments? Well, that’s because the SBI server is down. The bank has received numerous complaints stating that its server is not responding. Due to SBI’s shutdown, people are having a hard time using services like online banking, UPI payments, etc.
Down Detector India announced the same via a tweet that read: “User reports indicate State Bank of India (SBI) is experiencing problems as of 9:19 AM IST. http: //downdetector.in/status/state-bank-of- india-sbi/RT if you are also experiencing #StateBankofIndia(SBI)down.” According to the information provided by down detector most of the reported problems are related to online banking with 65%, followed by online login (25%) and account balance (10%).
Notably, people are also complaining about a server crash on April 2, 2023. “User reports say State Bank of India (SBI) is experiencing problems as of 10:03 am IST. . http://downdetector.in/status/state-bank- of-india-sbi/ RT if you are also experiencing #StateBankofIndia(SBI)down,” Down Detector tweeted.
Earlier on April 1st, State Bank of India announced that the services of INB/YONO/YONO Lite/YONO Business/UPI will be unavailable for several hours a day. “The services of INB/YONO/YONO Lite/YONO Business/UPI will not be available from 13:30 to 16:45]time on April 1, 2023 due to the annual closure of operations,” the announcement said. However, since then, SBI customers have faced problems in using SBI’s online services. Meanwhile, SBI has yet to respond to complaints and has not released any official statement regarding the server outage. But, the bank has tweeted a video sharing some safety tips, comments on said users,
1. “Fix your server problem first. Worst service from SBI, how good is your poor service.”
2. “Worst app. Can’t even login and the website doesn’t work.”
3. “There is no official statement from SBI about the shutdown….when are the services expected to go live? Or is SBI not bothered about that? First business day of the year? finance and users can’t log in for 3 hours now.. ..any maintenance work done yesterday seems to have screwed things up..”
4. “Try to solve the server problem first”
5. “Is the sbi server down? Yono sbi is down. Please fix it.”
