Sarah Palin, former VP GOP candidate, running for a House seat: NPR

Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska and Republican vice presidential candidate, filed Friday with Federal Election Commission running for the seat of the late Don Young’s in the United States House of Representatives.
“America is at a coming point,” Palin said in a statement Friday.
Young, who is the longest serving Republican in the history of the United States House of Representatives, passed away at the age of 88 on March 18. He was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1973.
In mid-February, Palin lost her defamation suit against the New York Times originated in june 2017 Editor falsely claimed a link between an ad from her political action committee and a mass shooting months later.
