Krzysztof Glozaki stepped into the ring for the 36th time on Saturday night in Manchester, England. The 36-year-old boxer is participating in the “Midnight Train,” Richard Riakporhe, in a scheduled 12-round cruiser fight. The match was played simultaneously with the Chris Eubank Jr – Liam Smith card, which was broadcast live on DAZN in the United States.

Glowacki 20-3 tried to put pressure on Riakporhe 15-0 in the opening half. However, the 33-year-old Riakporhe was patient against former world champion Glowacki. The first half of the second half saw Riakporhe hold off Glowacki with footwork and a long stab. Glowacki was hit with a good punch in the second half of the chapter, though he recovered quickly.

Both fighters remained cautious in the third round. It wasn’t rushed action, but it was clear that each man was looking for an opportunity to land effectively. Riakporhe found that opportunity in the fourth inning. A staircase to the left followed by a staircase to the right rocked Glowacki and pushed him into the ropes. Riakporhe moved and did what he had to do. Referee Howard Foster wisely intervened and stopped the game.
