We’ve seen Twitch chat beat games like Pokémon and even The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but how about a more active game? During the holiday season, Twitch and diverse streamer GappyV decided to invent the ultimate test – generate code that converts basic messages into Wii Remote and Nunchuk input to see if Twitch chat can “beat” all five games in Sports Wii.
While there are certainly some issues that arise, once the Twitch chat has a solid understanding of each sport, it’s almost successful. Baseball eventually became the highlight. Although chatting was quite a challenge to get the hang of getting the hang of hitting the ball, in the end it won home. You can watch it all unfold in the video above.
