The latest addition of 36 horses to the January Keeneland All Ages Sale includes 14 ponies sold as part of an ongoing lawsuit between trainer Wesley Ward and owner/raider Ken Ramsey .
Artie’s princess , Chasing Artie , and Ramsey Solution are among the 14 racing prospects, race or stallion prospects, and race or rooster prospects owned by Ramsey. They will be consigned by Paramount Sales, the dealer, and are expected to sell at the end of the session on January 13.
Ward and Ramsey have been embroiled in a lawsuit since March, filed by Ward to recover nearly $1 million he claims is owed in overdue training bills. Ward acquired an agricultural lien on the horses because of the debt and was allowed to sell them during a December 9 hearing before Judge Hunter Daugherty of Jessamine County Court (United States).

Artie’s princess is Canada’s champion female sprinter in 2020, the year she won the Bessarabian Stakes (G2) and the Ruling Angel Stakes at Honeysuckle. .’s 4-year-old daughter We Miss Artie cataloged as a racing prospect or broodmare.
A 3-year-old creation by We Miss Artie, Chasing Artie won this year’s Palisades Turf Sprint Stakes at Keeneland and My French Shares in Monmouth Park.
Ramsey Solution, 5-year-old boy do The real solution , won the 2020 Tapit Stakes at Kentucky Downs during course recording. He finished second in this year’s Baltimore/Washington International Lawn Cup (G3T) at Pimlico racetrack.

- On the deck of the ship , a 5-year-old daughter of First Samurai who finished second in this year’s Chillingworth Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita . Park. She came out of Mineshaft mare What’smineismine, is the half-sister to the 1st prize winning student Spring quality and class 3 winner Holiday star . Cataloged as a racing prospect or broodmare, On Deck was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, dealer.
- Reagan’s Edge , a 2nd grade 4 year old daughter of Competitive advantage deposited by Denali Stud, agent. She is cataloged as a racing or nurturing prospect.
