QuakeCon is happening this weekend and as part of this id Software has shared some announcements for its games.
Earlier in the day an id Sofware’s Marty Stratton live stream, it was revealed that the Threewave Capture The Flag mod would return to an updated version of the game. Quakeconsole versions of the game.
You can update your version of the game on your Nintendo Switch to play it now. It comes with nine maps from the original mod and supports up to eight players.
This mod was first released in 1996 by Zoid Kirsch and in the words of Bethesda, has made Capture The Flag mode a household name in multiplayer modes. You can learn more about this free update in original blog post.
