Puppies Abandoned on Christmas Day Found Home on the Same Day

Police officers had the opportunity to rescue a litter of puppies in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to a Facebook post by the Tulsa Police Department, someone dropped a duffle bag filled with five puppies at the counter of a convenience store.

It wasn’t long before the Edward Squad Mingo Valley Division responded and officers were there to assist.

They not only helped rescue the puppies, but also brought all 5 puppies to a new home.

Four of the officers received four of the puppies immediately. It seems like just looking at their faces and walking away is too much. An employee at a convenience store donated a home for the fifth puppy.

According to the Facebook post, they were “overwhelmed with Christmas emotions”. They also shared pictures of officers holding puppies.

The post continued: “Sincere thanks to the cute puppies, wonderful officers and QT staff. If you are looking for a pet, please adopt, do not shop, there are many rescues and shelters that are overworked for abandoned pets. “

Many people commended the officers for providing a home for the puppy so quickly. They also appreciate that the puppies are left somewhere safer than being thrown out in the open, where they are likely to die.

For all the pups, their Christmas nightmare turned into a Christmas miracle thanks to the officers.
