Ollie, a Chocolate Lab, has a personality of her own! When Ollie’s mother, Alex, took him to a pumpkin patch, he chose his favorite and proudly took it with him. Alex figured that when they got home, Ollie would leave the pumpkins there. But oh no! Ollie has found her new best friend.
Wherever Ollie goes, so does his pumpkin. Whether it’s going for a walk or snuggling up in his bed, the pumpkin is always with him. He proudly holds it in his mouth with the stalk. When the stalk finally fell off, the dog struggled. Poor Ollie!
Fortunately, Alex has come up with a solution. She found the perfect sized basket the pumpkin would fit in, and Ollie can carry it that way. He was completely satisfied, once again, carrying the pumpkin everywhere. But then the squash started to rot and Alex had to buy Ollie another one. But Ollie wasn’t fooled one bit! He won’t even look at it!
Thankfully, Alex had another plan and it was cute to miss. Ollie’s love for her pumpkin has resulted in something very special that is sure to make you smile! We love this story and so will you!
