PS5 screenshots and video coming soon to the app in the Americas
Many people will be able to view screenshots and video recordings from PS5 on their mobile devices. Sony has announced that the Americas will soon receive a PlayStation App update that will make these items accessible. They will show up in an in-app gallery, provided certain conditions are met.
There are two types of media from PS5 that will show up in the PlayStation App. If someone has linked their dashboard and apps and put the system to sleep when connected to the internet, items will automatically upload. They’ll then be able to enable capture within the app in Gallery and Capture and on the system in the Capture and Play section in Settings. PS5 screenshots and videos that are not in 4K or more than three minutes will show up in the app. They will be available for viewing there for 14 days. After that point, they will be removed from the app’s library.
Here is a video showing the process.

This marks more key areas for the PlayStation App PS5 screen capture and video feature. Initially, only people in Canada and Japan could use it.
The PlayStation app is available on Android and Apple iOS devices.
