Police: Tisha Campbell’s Attempted Kidnapping Claims Are NOT Supported by Facts!!
Two days ago, actress Tisha Campbell took to Instagram and claimed that she was nearly “kidnapped” by men she describes as “traffickers”.
Now that MTO News has learned that the police in Brownsville Texas have investigated Tisha’s lawsuits- and found that they were NOT REAL DEVELOPMENT, MTO News has learned.
Police say they have no evidence that Tisha has ever been in the city. The statement asserted that they had seen the surveillance footage, and did not see Tisha in any of the footage.
Here is their exact statement:
After reviewing the facts presented by Ms. Campbell in her video, BPD Investigators quickly opened an investigation as such cases are not the norm in our city.
Through numerous interviews and review of security camera footage, we were unable to confirm Ms Campbell’s stay in hotels in Brownsville nor any other claims made in the video.
Oh oh. . .
Tisha stated that she needed a ride after filming and didn’t have access to any Ubers or Lyfts. A man in the hotel gave her the number of a taxi service.
After calling for a ride, Tisha said two men pulled up to what she described as “a sketchy truck” and asked her to get in.
Refusing to get in the car, a man sitting in the driver’s seat jumped in to talk to her and asked her to get in the car.
Not feeling safe, Campbell refused. The actress then went back to the front desk and asked a woman who was there to find the man who gave her that number.
Confused, the receptionist told Campbell that the number was not a normal taxi company number. The actress noted in a statement that she believes “it was a real staging.”
