Pokemon enjoy the jungle life in the new line of Capsule toys

Takara Tomy Arts will start selling the “Pokemon in the Forest” capsule toy line starting mid-February 2022. It will cost JPY 300 (approximately $2.60) per spin. This series will feature four Pokemon to collect. In addition, you can use their cover to form a small plastic tree for them to pose. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

The four Pokemon in the Jungle Pokemon capsule collection are: Pikachu, Buneary, Starly and Munchlax. Of these four, only Pikachu and Buneary have berries to eat. Starly is resting in its nest. Meanwhile, Munchlax seems to be waiting for more berries to fall from the tree. Its arms were outstretched as if it was about to catch something, and it was looking up at the treetops that were probably there. Each shape is about 36 mm tall and the tree you can build is 88 mm.

In addition to making children’s toys, Takara Tomy regularly releases capsule toys in collaboration with anime movies or games. Because Pokemon, previous collections include a line of Pokemon sleeping on each other, a line dedicated to Gengarand a line of Pokemon that use movement Tail Whip. Availability outside of Japan often depends on one’s local gachapon store or if an authorized service is providing these toys.

The Forest Pokemon gacha series will be available in capsule toy makers in Japan from mid-February 2022.
