Peter Rosenberg admits to talking ‘stupid’ Kelly Rowland & Beyoncé
Peter Rosenberg seems to be responsible for the harassment Tired Kelly Rowland and compare Beyoncé.
In one Ebro in the morning appearance, Kelly Dates Rosenberg After He Said It Looks Like She’s Falling In Love “played second to Beyoncé.” He quoted his comment by saying that Angie Martinez recently gave Kelly flowers for playing a supporting role.
“You happen to be standing next to the brightest light on Planet Earth,” says Rosenberg. He added, “You’re with Beyoncé and you not only don’t like going against it, but you seem like you really love the position you’re in and take it seriously.”
The singer, without hesitation, clocked her words with her answer.
“Here is the problem, light attracts light. I am the light. So I’m a brown light that shines beautifully, so I don’t think anyone’s light overshadows anyone else’s,” Kelly replied. “I think when other people start comparing you, I think that’s when it shows how incompetent they are. So I don’t consider someone trying to dim my light for anyone else anymore. I love B, I know that she is light, but I know that I am also light.”
Interview goes viral, Rosenberg says he apologized to Kelly
Rosenberg’s question went viral, and after two Twitter users called him in a thread, he acknowledged the error in his question.
“Lol, I get it… I hate my question… clumsy and stupid… send her a line to apologize for how it happened,” he replied.

One of the users, @IamHarmony, replied back that, “That’s a bad question, Rosenberg, we hate it too. Constantly comparing, mentioning or asking about Beyoncé when Kelly is interviewed is exhausting, man. Rosenberg answeredsaid he didn’t mean it but “Completely understood.”
Rosenberg later posted an apology on Twitter as Kelly wrote, “I made a mistake, sorry @kellyrowland, I didn’t mean it remotely but intent doesn’t always matter, I’ll take the L. “
I’m wrong . Sorry @KELLY ROWLAND …
not my remote intention but intent is not always important. I will take L…

Kelly says she and Beyoncé shine together
However, Rosenberg’s tweeted replies paint a different picture with his persistence throughout the interview. Even after the award-winning singer, actor, author and businessman has bragged about his light; he doubled his comparison question. When he tried to explain the question from Kelly’s point of view, he said, “My best friend is the biggest star in the world,” She interrupted him with another round of applause.
“Yes, and the sister who slashed her best friend is also one of the biggest stars in the world,” Kelly said. “So it seems like people just see things from one side, you know what I mean. So I don’t like it when they just put one person in a place like we both shine together.”
Kelly continued her statement, pointing at Marsai Martin, who was sitting next to her, like someone she was currently shining with. The singer explained that people are gradually believing that only one person can shine at a time.
“My sister has knocked on doors and positioned herself for a lot of women who look like her, have a deeper shade than her… but especially for Black women and place Black women in other places. for which we are very grateful. But someone else did it for her, and another group did it for us, and I do it for other brown girls,” Kelly said. “It’s just a cycle and a space for all of us to open our doors to each other instead of comparing. Don’t be too limiting and I feel like comparators are very limited in their minds. And they limit themselves, so don’t limit others.”
At this point, Ebro intervened, and they talked about how this thinking, specifically, affects the Black community and culture. The rest of the interview also leans towards the roles of Marsai and Kelly in the upcoming movie Great ball game.
Social media comes to Kelly’s defense
With YEARLY Kelly addressing the same line of questions, social media’s response to Rosenberg hasn’t been so kind.
The problem is that Kelly Rowland has dealt with this disrespect for too long. For decades! It’s not ONLY about Rosenberg.

I’m not trying to watch Kelly Rowland behave politely while Peter Rosenberg asks her stupid questions about “playing second to Beyoncé”.

It’s all your fault for allowing Peter Rosenberg to use black media. If he interviewed Kelly Rowland for???? Is Nessa busy?

Yes, Rosenberg @Rosenbergradioget along with Kelly Rowland being her own person and woman, outside of the group she started out in… Unless she mentions that group or the other members first, you really shouldn’t. mention any of them/that in an interview with her these days…

After all these years and many successful SOLO projects, you would think @HOT97 & Rosenberg will have some RESPECT for Kelly.
We don’t need click bait/repeated insults to ask someone what it’s like to live in someone else’s light? KELLY is LIGHT and a vocal goddess

that’s a very classy and thorough answer from kelly because rosenberg tried it

Rosenberg’s interview shows how radio hosts are no longer up to speed, their skills aren’t what they used to be or should be. Still carrying this story in 2022 about Kelly & Beyoncé is just bad interview form.

First of all Kelly is gorgeous 😍 like wow. Second, this is a lazy and rude question to ask her. Come on the part I used to want to be a journalist was annoyed with Rosenberg https://t.co/bmfmnA2aDW

It’s funny because she and Marsai Martin did a breakfast club interview right before Hot97 and Beyonce wasn’t mentioned once, the interview was about Kelly Rowland and Marsai Martin didn’t understand why Rosenberg would. mentioned her when they were promoting a movie
