Daniel Cox, campaign leader for Peta Germany, said: “We all know them, the suburban dads with beer bottles and kebabs, 70c hot dogs on their 700 euro grills.

“The courtier added by the guest had a suspicious look and was only reluctant to tolerate.

“However, the fact that the German ‘grill masters’ believe that they must prove their masculinity to themselves and their fellow human beings through the consumption of meat does not only harm the animals.

“There is now scientific evidence that toxic masculinity also harms the climate. Thus, a hefty 41% meat tax on men would be appropriate.

“The ban on sex or reproduction for all men who eat meat also serves a purpose in this context.”
