NBC Sports presents daily live coverage of the Royal Meeting at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, June 14, at 8:30 a.m. ET exclusively on Peacock. Peacock will continue with exclusive five-hour shows Wednesday through Friday, starting each day at 8:30 a.m. ET. Royal Ascot coverage ends this Saturday at 9 a.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
Saturday’s show on NBC and Peacock will be hosted by NBC Sports Royal Ascot veterans Britney Eurton and Nick Luck. NBC News’ Dylan Dreyer also returned to the event, with her coverage including access to the Royal Enclosure, one of the most exclusive and prestigious sections at the racecourse. Prominent political reporter Steve Kornacki of NBC News will launch Royal Ascot on Saturday, as an insight analyst.
In total, NBC Sports will cover nearly 25 hours over five days.
Royal Ascot is Britain’s most valuable race and features 35 races, including eight at the “Group One” (G1) level of the world championship. Five horses trained by Wesley Ward are expected to lead the American contenders at Ascot, including Golden Palace in tomorrow’s King’s Stand Stakes (G1), Love Reigns in Queen Mary Stakes (G2) on Wednesday and winner of Queen Mary Stakes in 2020 Campanelle in the Platinum Jubilee Staking (G1) program on Saturday.
Throughout the week, The Royal Meeting news featured four “Breeders’ Cup Challenge — Win and You’re In” live races: The Queen Anne Stakes and King Stand Stakes (June 14), Prince of Wales’s Stakes (June 15), June), and The Norfolk Stakes (June 16).
The Royal Meeting is at the heart of the British social season and an important week in the Royal calendar. Queen Elizabeth II has attended Royal Ascot every year since 1945, except in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
