PDRM adds Honda City model to its patrol vehicle fleet

Honda vehicles have proven to be a popular choice for patrol vehicles for the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) in recent times, with the force using them for the first time. 435 Honda Civic FC 1.8L units for work in 2020 before moving on Civic FE 1.5L Turbo this early year.

The gasoline-powered City sedan is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated DOHC i-VTEC in-line 4-cylinder engine, producing 121 PS (119 horsepower or 89 kW) at 6,600 rpm and a – 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm, driven to the front wheels through a CVT gearbox.

Expect to see posts about the new City patrol vehicle units, supplied by government fleet supplier Spanco, appear on social media in the near future.
