Everyone will have a chance to read about Elden Ring in a book before playing it. Yen Press will release The Overture of Elden Ring on February 3, 2022. This e-book will provide detailed information about the game and its development. It is described as a “bait” for it.
There are not many details about what will be in the book. It does mention an interview with FromSoftware Director Hidetaka Miyazaki will be in it. Network testing in November 2021 will also be discussed. Everyone can see the art from the game. Also, other Soullikes like Bloodborne and Dark souls will appear.

As for the game itself, everything seems to be going according to plan. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have confirmed that it has won the gold award at the Taipei Game Show 2022. This means that the main version has already shipped and the official development is done. Producer Yasuhiro Kitao also noted at the time that someone who didn’t want to do and watch things could beat the game in about 30 hours.
Yen Press’ The Overture of Elden Ring The book will be available digitally on February 3, 2022. Elden Ring will release for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC on February 25, 2022.
