Open up a whoop-ass climate can about this guy • Watts Up With That?

As I said before, it is our duty to fight against the extravagant claims of pervasive climate alarmism that pervade the media, society and otherwise. Here’s an example of how you do it – write a letter to refute the editor. I urge readers to do the same in the face of unfounded frightening claims.

Mine Letter to the editorial office July 13, 2023:

Letter: Multiple hot air screening

This is the answer to Michael Bertsch, who Written:

“July 4 is the hottest day in human history so far. … and when science proves you wrong, you still deny the connection of the thermal record to oil — the spot is as thick as a brick. We laugh at you. We are all laughing at you.”

This shows Michael’s “seasoned” knowledge of the situation. That 4th of July claim is false. It comes from a website called Climatereanalyzer.org that uses model data, not actual temperatures, and has been collected and spread by ignorant idiots on social media, followed by methods media did not bother to check. There are only two problems: it’s not the official temperature. in one Associated Press story July 5NOAA self-isolation:

“NOAA, whose metrics are considered the gold standard in climate data, said in a statement on Thursday that it could not verify the unofficial figures. It notes that the analyzer re-uses the model outputs it calls “nonconforming” as a substitute for actual climate and temperature records.

And there is the fact that the model only goes back to 1979 and not “human history”.

Sorry!

The “excessive heat” that caused panic on social media came from the waters off Antarctica, where apparently a computer modeling glitch made it look like shrimp were boiling in the ocean. Meanwhile, according to actual data, you know, from actual measurements, the temperature of the Earth at the time of this writing is 57.47°F. It’s not “hot”.

I laugh at you Michael, in fact, we are all laughing at you.

This is a disturbing image on social networks. See the small increase in the center to 17°C. Note that it only has data from 1979.

I’m pretty sure there were heatwaves before 1979, like big in July 1936. So much for Michaels’ claim of “the hottest day in human history.”

This is a big “heat source” causing panic – an obvious glitch (or short-term outlier) in the model output that makes it appear that the water off Antarctica is boiling and, when “averaged” globally, has generated an increase That’s 17°C wrong.

Dr. Ryan Maue consider on Twitter trying to put out the wrong social media fire. It’s not even an updated climate model, circa 2009/2011:
