Isle of Man TT 2023
Just over 18 weeks until the Isle of Man TT 2023 and today the entries are open for the 102nd Edition of the world’s most famous and infamous road race.
Going back to the revised ten-race schedule starting on May 29, TT 2023 will get underway on Monday of the Spring Bank Holiday with a full Free Practice session with no time on morning, followed by a timed First Qualifier session in the afternoon.
Tuesday the 30th, Wednesday the 31st and Thursday the 1st of June feature the traditional evening qualifiers before the fifth and final qualifying round on the afternoon of Friday 2nd June.
A revised racing program will then kick in, with the hugely popular midweek now featuring three races instead of just two, opening with the first Monster Energy Supersport and Saturday’s 3wheeling.media Sidecar TT Races June 3 and RST Superbike TT on Sunday 4 .
Monday provides the first day off before entering four midweek races: the first Superstock RL360 Race and Supertwin Race on Tuesday, June 6, and the second Supersport and Sidecar Race on Wednesday, May 7th. Six.
Thursday marks the second day off before a revival weekend. The Island’s famous bank holiday Friday, June 9 will see crowds packed for the second Superstock and Supertwin Race, ahead of a day of carnival and Milwaukee Senior TT headlines that make… The Isle of Man TT 2023 race ends on Saturday, June 10.
With more race days and more races to look forward to – including the first two for each class – the fastest man in TT history, Peter Hickman, is excited about the new format.

“It’s great that we will have the opportunity to race twice in each class. There is also now a real incentive for teams and opponents to put together more race-winning packages with Superstock and Supertwin tiers now offering a much better return on investment and similar commitment. At the same time, I know that a small error or a minor mechanical failure can ruin a race – and all you can think about is to wait another twelve months before trying again. With two races per class, not only are you rewarded with an extra cherry, but you can also learn a lot from the first race, which you can progress to the second race. In particular, races on race weekend, I expect to be highly competitive and tough.”
After winning 15 of the previous 18 TT Races between them, all eyes will be on Peter Hickman and Michael Dunlop in 2023, with Michael set to hit the record for wins held by his legendary uncle Joey. hold, and Peter shortlisted all-time winners.
