Jayda Cheaves is speaking out after being accused of ripping off another designer’s swimsuit for her own brand, Waydamin.

Here’s how the charges against Jayda Cheaves turned out
On Tuesday, Cheaves took to her Instagram Story to share footage from what appears to be her current vacation. In one of the posts shared on her story, Cheaves showed off the orange bikini she was wearing. The bikini’s bra has a ruched design.
As Cheaves continued to post on Instagram, she shared a carousel of photos of herself in a bikini on her feed.
One X, formerly known as Twitter user @Chelseaaah_, caught the wind of Cheaves’ vaca’ fit. In response, she accused Cheaves stole her friend’s swimsuit design. In addition, user X also dropped the receipt.
“It’s so embarrassing that my friend worked so hard for years just for JAYDA WAYDA TO EARN HER WHOLE S**T after she was PAID to wear and post a bikini for my friends!! ! WEIRDO FLEX,” she tweeted.

From there, user Cheave praised the brand in 2020.

However, they added that after scrolling down Cheave’s Instagram recently, they believe the social media site went back and edited her post, removing her shout-out to Eaunoir Swim.

Waydamin founder responded when Eaunoir swam and reacted on social media
The viral allegations prompted Eaunoir Swim to release a statement on the matter via Instagram.
“In July 2020, I contacted Lawanda Jayda Waydas’ manager to ask Jayda to wear our bathing suit and we decided to pay her $4000 to feature it…” they wrote . “…When Jayda wore it, she tagged our Instagram page in her IG post and story. I continued to communicate with her about future arrangements and provided samples and design ideas for her to wear in 2021. However, she expressed her focus on launching the brand own. In June 2021, we began the process of copyrighting the bathing suit for legal protection. While there are many influencers and celebrities endorsing our floral bomb bathing suits, it is disappointing to deal with hardworking women being taken advantage of by bullying influencers. imitate our original work…”
Furthermore, Cheaves eventually responded to the theft allegations via Snapchat.
“Oh, there is NO shade. The girl I promoted in 2020 was on the mood board for this summer’s swim,” she wrote. “That’s what fashion is all about remaking and recreating…”

Lil Baby, Father of Jayda Cheaves’ son, also made headlines recently
As Cheaves made headlines, so did the father of her son, Lil Baby. According to 11Alive, a shooting occurred in the Dixie Hills area of Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday night.
Initially, it was reported that Lil Baby was filming a music video “near” where the incident occurred. The last three suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds. However, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed that the rapper was not among the injured.
According to the source, police believe the incident was “isolated and targeted.” Additionally, they stated that there may be “individuals involved in the entire production process involved in the incident.”
Early Wednesday morning, Shade room Lil Baby confirmed to a spokesperson that he and his production team were not involved in the incident.
