What is a numeric keypad?
Numeric keyboard is a media product that competes in tandem with Ooma with a wide range of features. Powered by AI, it runs in the cloud and includes three integrated products: Dialpad Talk for voice services, Dialpad Contact Center for contact center management, and Dialpad Sell, a vending dialer .
The numeric keypad allows for number shifting and offers 3 levels of functionality: Standard, Professional and Enterprise.
The Standard versions include unlimited calling, SMS and MMS, AI-powered voicemail and call transcripts, integration with Google and Microsoft, unlimited video meetings, and web/chat support.
The Pro version gives you all the Standard options plus support for adding local numbers in 70+ countries, multiple phone numbers per account, 25 ring groups (e.g. for departments), 10 office locations, global SMS capabilities, integration with CRM solutions like Salesforce, Zendesk, Hubspot and Zoho, open APIs and webhooks for greater customization, and 24/7 live agent support 7.

The numeric keypad appears to be business-specific; I couldn’t find a consumer-based option, but since many people run their businesses out of their homes, this could work even for a home-based employee running a company. company of a company. Conference tables and equipment
Ooma and Dialpad both offer desk and conference phones, as well as headsets for use with these devices. Physical equipment is not a requirement for either service; Mobile apps (see below) will work fine to enable all necessary functionality.

This integration allows access to contacts to initiate calls or other forms of communication, and Dialpad takes it a step further by automatically displaying emails, documents, and events shared with contacts in Dialpad contact sidebar in desktop and mobile apps.

Enterprise and call center capabilities
Both Ooma and Dialpad provide capabilities designed for call center (contact) operations.
The Ooma Enterprise PBX platform provides intelligent routing, call flow design tools, reporting and analytics capabilities, automated call distribution, and interactive voice responses.
The numeric keypad offers two contact center options: Pro and Enterprise. Pro features live AI coaching, real-time sentiment tracking, unlimited SMS and MMS messaging, 24×7 support, and integration into the helpdesk CRM platform (minimum three licenses).
The Enterprise edition has all the features of Pro as well as 100% SLA uptime, unlimited call queues, advanced reporting, custom business rules, custom dashboards and reports. A minimum license of 50 is required.
HIPAA Compliant
Ooma states that “Ooma specifically makes no representations, warranties or warranties that your services, account(s) or device (or use of any of the foregoing) of any party comply with or will comply with HIPAA or any other law or will require any party to comply with HIPAA or any other law. “
In contrast, Dialpad is HIPAA compliant but healthcare providers must certain regulations are considered fully compliant.
Choose between Ooma and Numeric Keypad
There is no right or wrong answer when choosing either Ooma or Numeric keyboard. Both will work quite well for small or large businesses and can greatly enhance any company or individual’s ability to communicate and collaborate. Softwareadvice.com has collected reviews from users of both products and Ooma received 4.5 out of 5 star ratings while Dialpad scored 4.35 out of 5.
Negative feedback to Ooma results in limitations on product, call forwarding, call quality, and pricing. The same response for Dialpad regarding pricing, incomplete alerts for missed calls and voicemails, and license management.
I personally don’t see a problem with the pricing structure for both services. It seems fair and reasonable on the whole.
Small companies and security-focused consumers may notice Ooma a good fit thanks to their sensors and security monitoring plan. Ooma’s AirDial product can be very useful in replacing the functions and services that were handled by the POTS system in the past. If you just want the calling and conferencing options, the Dialpad might be a better choice, as it’s cheaper in that respect.
