OH! Apple CEO Tim Cook gives priceless reaction when he sees a Macintosh Classic


As excitement continues even after the opening of India’s first Apple retail store at Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) on Tuesday, what caught the eye on Tuesday was the reaction of Apple Apple CEO Tim Cook as a fan brings more than 33 old Macintosh Classics back to the store.

Cook couldn’t believe his eyes and was surprised to see an old Macintosh Classic at the store. His response was priceless.

A man in a black turtleneck and yellow cap entered the store. Calling myself a die hard fan of Apple product, he says he has been with the brand since Apple computer was founded by Steve Jobs.

Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduced the first Macintosh at Apple’s annual shareholder meeting in Cupertino, California in 1984, unveiling a new computer with a 9-inch black and white screen and an affordable price tag.

A few hours ago, on Twitter, the Apple CEO posted a photo from the grand opening of the store and captioned it: “The energy, creativity and passion in Mumbai so magical! We’re excited to open Apple BKC — our first store in India.”

Loud cheers were heard as the Apple CEO opened the first store in India and many excited gadget enthusiasts took selfies with Cook.

In the early hours of Tuesday, people were seen waiting patiently in long zigzag lines outside the store.

Tim Cook on Monday took to Twitter and posted a photo with his team from the Mumbai store.

He tweeted, “Hi, Mumbai! We can’t wait to welcome our customers to the new Apple BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex) tomorrow.” He also posted a photo of himself and the entire team of the Mumbai store, along with the tweet.

Apple’s Delhi store will open to customers at 10am on Thursday. The US tech giant launched its first online store in India in 2020 and was supposed to launch physical stores shortly after, but plans have been put on hold due to the Covid pandemic.

Apple’s second store in India will be inaugurated on Thursday at Saket Mall in Delhi.

The first brick-and-mortar retail stores in India will mark the US tech giant’s significant expansion in the country, offering personalized services and experiences to customers.

Apple is capitalizing on the growth of the Indian electronics market and is focusing heavily on manufacturing its products in the country.

Apple has started manufacturing its latest iPhone 14 models in India, just days after the global launch. In India, the US tech giant is working with the top three global smartphone manufacturers – Wistron, Foxconn and Pegatron.
