The result of Underwater photo contest 2022 was announced, featuring Kat Zhou’s stunning footage of a Caribbean reef octopus guarding its eggs—which won first place in the “Macro” category—which won the award. “Best Film”.

Among them are Renee Capozzolafor images in first place in the “Wide Angle” category; Galice Hoarau, first in the category “Marine Behavior”; and Enrico Somogyi, who won the top honor in the “Compact Wide Angle” category.
