Oak Lawn news: 2 Chicago carjacking suspects in custody after crashing near 95th Street, Oak Park Avenue
Oak Garden police requested residents to keep away from the realm close to ninety fifth Road and Oak Park Avenue or shelter in place as they looked for one of many two suspects who fled on foot after crashing on the intersection.
Oak Garden police mentioned the suspects had been wished in reference to a carjacking reported in Chicago on Sunday.

Police pursued the car till it acquired off I-294 at 127th Road in Alsip. Then, police mentioned the car acquired again on I-294 going north to ninety fifth Road in Oak Garden. The driving force then proceeded east till crashing at ninety fifth Road and Oak Park Avenue.
Oak Garden police mentioned the driving force of the car was taken into custody on the scene. Police with canines had been seen looking for the second suspect, a passenger within the car.
Police mentioned the second suspect was taken into custody round 5 p.m. Video from Chopper7 seems to point out authorities apprehending the suspect in a car parking zone at a close-by automotive dealership.
Various police departments had been concerned, together with police from Oak Garden and Gary, Indiana. There have been no stories of any accidents.
