NVIDIA AI Integrated with Microsoft Azure Machine Learning

NVIDIA AI Enterprise, available on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, announced this week that it has expanded support for securely developing and deploying artificial intelligence with a new Azure Machine Learning integration that can enhance capabilities capabilities to deliver enterprise-ready general AI to the healthcare industry and other customers.

WHY IT IMPORTANT

With NVIDIA AI Enterprise on Azure ML, developers can access the company’s highest performing compute resources for inference, or use a trained model to infer results from live data.

According to the company, pre-trained models and development tools include NVIDIA Rapids, which accelerates data science workloads, and NVIDIA Metropolis, which supports AI model development.

With the “wave” of general AI applications, enterprises are looking for secure accelerated development tools, said Manuvir Das, NVIDIA’s vice president of enterprise computing.

Azure Machine Learning delivers performance and security, “allowing businesses and developers to easily access everything they need to train and deploy secure, custom large language models,” says John Montgomery , Microsoft’s corporate vice president of AI platforms added.

In March, partners also announced that NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud – a full-stack cloud environment for developing, deploying, and managing industrial metaverse applications at scale – is available on Microsoft Azure.

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s CEO, said in a statement that building NVIDIA Omniverse in Azure could “accelerate” digitalization thanks to hybrid capabilities.

NVIDIA’s production-ready AI capabilities on Azure include access to the company’s experts and support.

Azure ML integration is being offered through limited technical preview.

TREND TO BIGGER WOMAN

The healthcare industry is expanding the adoption of AI to reduce costs, increase security, and improve patient care.

NVIDIA has partnered with Microsoft and several other companies in a variety of AI-based partnerships, delivering platforms that can transform healthcare technology – from creating hyper-reverse environments to promoting… push experimentation and collaboration, such as robotic surgery, to the development of AI applications that analyze medical images and healthcare data.

Through a medical device partnership with Medtronic, NVIDIA’s real-time computing software for building medical devices and its AI hardware platform are enhancing the company’s intelligent endoscope module . The companies say AI-enhanced diagnostic images can improve colonoscopy and patient outcomes, helping doctors spot tumors that can lead to colorectal cancer. The integration module is expected to launch this year, according to an earlier announcement.

“Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool that can increase the speed, performance, and efficiency of global health systems,” Kimberly Powell, vice president of healthcare at NVIDIA, said in March. .

“We are partnering with Medtronic to accelerate AI innovation by enabling a software-defined business model, with the goal of improving clinical decision-making, reducing medical variability, and delivering results better outcomes for patients,” she said.

ON PROFILE

“The combination of NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and Azure Machine Learning will help businesses accelerate their AI initiatives with a straightforward, efficient path from development to implementation,” Das said in a statement. manufacture”.
