Nissan Almera, Leaf, Serena and X-Trail Tokyo Auto Salon KL Edition – one-off fitted cars for sale
ETCM is one of two official distributors of car manufacturers present at the exhibition Auto Salon Tokyo KL 2023 The event is open to the public today and Nissan representatives don’t just sell official Nismo and Impul merchandise – there are also custom cars that you can even buy.
There are four cars at MITEC – Almera, Leaf, Serena and X-Trail – all badged “Tokyo Auto Salon KL Edition”. The fact that ETCM had a booth here and displayed the cars was a surprise, and we were shocked to learn that these were all one-time sales and they were for sale.
The “Shinjuku-style” Almera TAS KL Edition is an eye-catcher here, as the B-segment sedan has had a sharp and sporty design from the start. The TAS KL version has a smart paint job in the style of “Nardo Gray” (ETCM calls it Storm Grey) with a black hood. Two-tone wheels match the 17-inch Nismo wheels, which are also two-tone, wrapped in Goodyear 215/45 rubber.
The alloys really improve the look of the N18 Almera, using 16-inch rims for the entire lineup, so this is a new look. It looks good, fits perfectly Tomei Air Package includes a front bumper spoiler, side skirt and rear bumper spoiler. There is also the Tomei GT Wing, which is an option for the original cars. Good posture even without a lowered suspension, which is rare.
The trunk spoiler and front grille are gloss black to match the hood, and there are small “TAS KL Edition” stickers on the front wings and trunk. Alongside the Almera is the Nissan Leaf TAS KL Edition, and the “Akihabara-style” EV also comes in a two-tone gray-black color scheme, with red accents on the front lip and side skirts. The Renewal leaves although it doesn’t come with a bodykit (despite looking very Nismo), but already has TAS KL stickers and door handle protectors. The Nissan Serena TAS KL Edition “Ginza Style” is based on the highest-spec Premium Highway Star version of C27 facelifted, launching in July 2022. The vehicle on display has a two-tone silver-black paint job, an Impul bodykit, 18-inch Impul wheels (with 225/40 tyres), Impul logos and TAS Edition stickers.
The interior of the MPV is upholstered in two-tone burgundy-black Nappa leather and also features door handle guards. This one-off show car will be for RM172,888it’s RM10k premium.

What do you think of ETCM’s Tokyo Auto Salon KL 2023 Edition cars? Sure, there are no performance upgrades but to me the cars look great, especially the Almera, and the parts used are from top Nissan tuners like Impul, Tomei and Nismo. One right bragging too.
