Square Enix will be releasing a 1/4 scale 2B Masterline statue from NieR: Automata based on her alternate 2P dithering. The statue will be approximately 52.2 cm or 21.7 inches tall. It will cost over 100,000 yen in Japan and over $1,000 in the US
The statue pack will come with a replacement head. One of them will show 2B’s entire face, while the other will have a white eye patch. Owners will be able to swap the heads to their liking.
This number will appear first in December 2022 in Japan, where it costs 121,000 yen. This item is also available for pre-order in North America for $1,150 and release window in April 2023.
The high price point reflects the statue’s larger size and more detail compared to other 2B figures and statues that have been revealed previously. In June 2022, Square Enix revealed Flare’s 11 inches The 2B figure costs less than $200. The company also shipped seven inches tall statue of the NieR: AutomataHer 2B in regular color and 2P in early 2022.
NieR: Automata available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Square Enix has sold more 6.5 million units of the game as of June 2022. The company will release Nintendo Switch port on October 6, 2022. It is also working with Aniplex for production anime adaptation of the title.
