Netherlands USA is celebrating a big anniversary this month by putting some extra cash in its customers’ pockets.
On Friday, the Seattle-based cruise line, which will celebrate its 150th anniversary of its maiden voyage on Saturday, kicked off a month-long anniversary promotion that gives customers extra spending money. up to $150 when they make new bookings for some 2023 and 2024 sailings.
For those booking excursions to Alaska, the 150th Anniversary Deal, as Holland America is calling the promotion, also offers a free cruise of the Alaskan coast.

Holland America 150th Anniversary Offer Details
As is typical for Holland America promotions, the 150th Anniversary Offer does not apply to all rides. Holland America says the promotion does not apply to longer Grand Voyages trips or any trip lasting three days or less.
Customers are also only eligible for the offer once. Up to two passengers in an eligible cabin.

Under the terms of the offer, passengers will receive an in-flight spending credit that ranges from $75 to $150 per person ($150 to $300 per cabin) depending on the type of cabin booked. Specifically, the on-board credit would be:
- $75/person ($150/cabin) for passengers sitting in a windowless “interior” cabin with ocean views.
- $150/person ($300/cabin) for passengers in balcony cabins and Vista, Signature, Neptune and Pinnacle suites.
Onboard credits are non-refundable or transferable. Passengers have to spend on board on things like shore excursions, drinks, items from the onboard shops, and spa services. They cannot use it in the onboard casinos.
The free Alaska Coast Cruises portion of the offer applies to new bookings for Alaska cruises starting or ending in Vancouver, British Columbia, as well as Glacier Bay cruises and Holland America cruises (excluding cruise itineraries Y3-Y6).
Customers will receive a credit for a shore excursion on the White Pass Summit Scenic Railroad in Skagway, Alaska.
