Tamashii Nations has revealed a new unreleased character of Luffy from One mouthful as part of the Fantasy Work stream. The 1/9 scale figure is currently on display at the Tamashii Nations Tokyo. This figure will officially release in June 2022 and costs 9,350 yen (about 80 dollars). [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
The Luffy figure will come with the character’s signature red vest, made of real fabric. It also comes with a large black felt jacket. Additionally, the drawing features finer details such as the scar on Luffy’s chest, the weaves on his straw hat, and even the scratches on his pants. Photo from Tamashii Nations Official website also indicated that it will come with two additional visors, as well as a string to tie the hat behind Luffy’s head.

Imagination Works is a newer line of figures from Bandai’s Tamashii Nations brand. The Imagination Works series focuses on turning 2D characters into 3D and creating poseable characters without sacrificing looks. However, so far, the brand has only introduced characters of Vegeta and Goku are from Dragon ball series. This new look by Monkey D. Luffy marks the brand’s first foray into another popular animated series.
Tamashii Nations will start selling the Luffy character in Imagination Works in June 2022. It will cost 9,350 yen (about $80). No confirmed pre-order date.
